The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Monday, February 16, 2026, as follows:
Financial entities reported a selling rate of RD$63.22 and a buying rate of RD$61.26.
These figures represent a strengthening of the local currency compared to the previous day, with an appreciation of 0.46% on the sale and 0.53% on the purchase.
In the Remittance and Exchange Agents sector, the US currency also showed a downward trend. The selling rate closed at RD$62.79, while the buying rate stood at RD$61.73.
According to the most recent exchange market survey conducted by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, the Dominican peso registered a day of appreciation against the US dollar.
