The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Monday, February 23, 2026, as follows:
In financial institutions, the buying rate was RD$60.43, while the selling rate reached RD$62.58.
These figures represent a daily appreciation of the peso of 0.35% on the purchase and 0.26% on the sale compared to the previous day.
If the medium-term behavior is analyzed, the peso has shown remarkable strength: compared to the close of 2025, the national currency has appreciated by 2.56% in the buying rate and 2.05% in the selling rate.
For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported a buying rate of RD$60.90 and a selling rate of RD$61.86.
