The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Monday, July 20, as follows:
At the windows of financial institutions, the dollar ended with a purchase rate of RD$57.29 and a sale rate of RD$60.14.
For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported the following quotes. Purchase Rate: RD$58.14. Selling Rate: RD$59.19.
In terms of short-term variations, the Dominican peso experienced a slight daily appreciation against the dollar of 0.06% in the buy rate and 0.03% in the sell rate compared to the previous day’s rates.
According to the daily survey conducted by the Foreign Exchange Market Statistics and Regulation Division, the currency closed the week with a marked accumulated depreciation compared to the levels recorded at the end of last year.
