The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Monday, July 13, as follows:

In financial entities, the purchase rate closed at RD$57.57 and the sale rate at RD$60.38.

This represents a daily appreciation for the peso of 0.09% in the purchase and 0.14% in the sale compared to the previous day.

While at Remittance and Exchange agents, the US currency was quoted at RD$58.42 for purchase and RD$59.53 for sale.

Here, the peso showed an even greater daily strengthening, with an appreciation of 0.22% and 0.26% respectively.

The most notable data point for economic analysts is the robust cumulative appreciation that the Dominican peso has experienced since the end of last year.

In financial institutions, the local currency has strengthened by 7.67% in the purchase rate and 5.76% in the selling rate compared to the close of 2025, when the purchase rate stood at RD$61.98.
