The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Tuesday, August 11, as follows:
At the close of the day, Financial Institutions presented a purchase rate of RD$56.86 and a sale rate of RD$59.53.
On the other hand, Remittance and Exchange Agents reported levels of RD$58.00 for purchase and RD$58.95 for sale.
Compared to the previous week, the local currency showed a slight daily appreciation of 0.08% in the purchase rate within the banking sector.
However, in the remittance sector, a mixed movement was observed: a slight depreciation of 0.06% in the purchase rate, while the selling rate for this group appreciated by 0.06%.
