The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Tuesday, December 16, 2025, as follows:
Remittance and Exchange Agents recorded the dollar at RD$62.94 for buying and RD$63.88 for selling.
In the very short term, the dollar showed a positive appreciation against the previous day’s data, rising 0.27% in the buying rate and 0.22% in the selling rate.
This positive trend extends to the monthly term: the dollar appreciated 1.28% in buying and 0.85% in selling compared to the rates of a month ago.
In Financial Entities, the buying rate of the dollar was RD$62.35 and the selling rate was RD$64.23.
Financial Entities also reflected a short and medium-term appreciation. Regarding the previous day, an appreciation of 0.21% was recorded in the purchase and 0.20% in the sale.
Compared to a month ago, an appreciation of 0.93% was observed in the purchase and 0.31% in the sale.
