The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Tuesday, July 21, as follows:

At the counters of financial institutions, the dollar closed with the following prices: RD$57.29 for the Buy rate and RD$60.14 for the Sell rate.

In terms of short-term variations, the dollar experienced a slight daily depreciation of 0.06% in the purchase rate and 0.03% in the selling rate compared to the recorded rates.

For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported the following quotes: RD$58.14 for the Buy rate and RD$59.19 for the Sell rate.

In this sector, the US currency showed a daily depreciation of 0.09% in the purchase rate, while the selling rate recorded a slight appreciation movement of -0.01%

As in commercial banking, the annual trend in this segment confirms a sharp decline: since the end of 2025, the dollar has depreciated by 8.13% for purchase and 7.70% for sale.
