The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Tuesday, July 28, as follows:
Financial institutions set the dollar purchase rate at RD$ 56.94, while the selling rate stood at RD$59.77.
These figures reflect stability compared to last week, with a slight positive variation (appreciation) of 0.04% in the purchase price.
On the other hand, at Remittance and Exchange Agents, the counter rate for purchase was RD$ 57.93 and for sale was RD$ 58.98.
This sector presents a narrower spread between buy and sell compared to banks.
The foreign exchange market in the Dominican Republic shows a favorable trend for the local currency at the beginning of this last week of July.
According to the window survey data published by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, the US dollar has experienced a slight decrease in its exchange rates, consolidating the trend of peso appreciation observed during the current year.
