The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Tuesday, June 23, as follows:
n” “nIn financial institutions, there is a purchase rate of RD$57.05 and a sale rate of RD$59.07. These figures reflect a slight appreciation of 0.03% compared to the rate from the previous week.
n” “nFor their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents report a purchase rate of RD$58.0071 and a sale rate of RD$59.14 today.
n” “nAs with banks, there is a recovery in the value of the peso compared to the levels recorded at the end of 2025, when the selling rate at these agents reached RD$63.7487 (an accumulated appreciation of 7.78% since then).
n” “nThis behavior of the foreign exchange market at mid-year suggests stability in the flow of foreign currency and a strengthening of the local currency compared to the projections from the end of the previous year.
