The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Wednesday, July 15, as follows:
Financial Entities reported a purchase rate of RD$57.51 and a selling rate of RD$60.35.
In the Remittance and Exchange Agents segment, the dollar was quoted at RD$58.35 for purchase and RD$59.55 for sale.
The most recent data from the foreign exchange market survey, conducted by the International Department and the Sub-directorate of Domestic Exchange Affairs of the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, confirm that the US dollar maintains a downward trajectory so far this year, consolidating a strengthening of the national currency compared to the levels recorded at the end of last year.
Compared to a year ago, the local currency shows a recovery of 2.61% in the purchase rate and 0.52% in the selling rate with respect to the levels of July 2025.
