The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Wednesday, July 29, as follows:
At the close of operations, financial entities set the dollar purchase rate at RD$56.91 and the selling rate at RD$ 59.66.
These figures represent a daily appreciation of 0.05% in the purchase and 0.17% in the sale compared to the previous day.
In the Remittance and Exchange Agents sector, the counter rate for purchase was RD$ 57.98 and for sale was RD$ 58.99.
Unlike banks, this segment recorded a slight daily depreciation of the peso (0.08% in the buy rate and 0.02% in the sell rate) compared to the previous day’s session.
The foreign exchange market of the Dominican Republic continues to show a trend of strengthening of the national currency against the US dollar.
