Dominican Ambassador Presents Credentials to Chilean President

Santiago de Chile. – The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Chile, Juan Cohen Sander, presented his Credentials to the President of the Republic of Chile, Gabriel Boric Font, in an official ceremony held at the Palacio de La Moneda. During the meeting, both authorities reaffirmed their commitment to continue strengthening bilateral relations. Ambassador Cohen highlighted that “Chile and the Dominican Republic are the perfect match”, alluding to the affinity and the potential for collaboration between both nations, as well as the willingness to expand cooperation ties in various areas of common interest.

Before heading to La Moneda, Ambassador Juan Cohen received the Chilean government delegation at the Embassy, where they spoke with the mission’s diplomats and then went to the government palace. Upon arriving at the government house, and at the conclusion of the event, the Ambassador received honors to the rhythm of the National Anthem of the Dominican Republic, then he headed back to the diplomatic headquarters. Ambassador Juan Cohen was accompanied by Minister Counselor Joel Jonathan Delgado and Counselor José García Marcano. In the ceremony, President Boric also received the Credentials of the ambassadors of Indonesia, Spain, Sweden and the Holy See (Apostolic Nuncio).
