Santo Domingo.- The Dominican athletes who participated in the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026 will be honored this Sunday during a parade that will travel through several of the main streets of the capital.
The activity is scheduled to start at 2:00 in the afternoon and will have the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center as its starting point.
From there, the route will continue along John F. Kennedy and Máximo Gómez avenues, then take Tunti Cáceres, Moca, Nicolás de Ovando, Duarte, Diego Velásquez, Josefa Brea, Francisco Henríquez y Carvajal, Mercedes, and Piña streets.
The route will conclude on George Washington Avenue, in the vicinity of Eugenio María de Hostos Park, where the celebration dedicated to the athletes who represented the country in the regional competition will culminate.
During the tour, agents from the General Directorate of Traffic and Land Transportation Safety (DIGESETT) will be stationed at various points to guide drivers and facilitate vehicular circulation.

Due to the movement of the caravan, momentary interruptions and increased congestion could occur on the roads included in the route, so drivers are advised to take precautions and follow the instructions of traffic officers.
The event will serve to publicly recognize the effort of the Dominican delegation and celebrate together with the citizenry the results obtained during the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.
