Santiago. – The Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Norte (EDENORTE Dominicana) highlights that electrical work carried out in the community of San José de Conuco, municipality of Tenares, Hermanas Mirabal province, is part of a process of rehabilitation and strengthening of distribution networks, executed by the Distribution Directorate through the Maintenance Management of the San Francisco de Macorís Sector, as part of its continuous service improvement program.
The company specified that these tasks do not correspond to an isolated intervention, but rather to a continuation of the optimization work on the electrical system that the institution is carrying out in different communities within its concession area, with the purpose of improving the quality, stability, and safety of the energy supply to customers.
According to the technical information corresponding to case CT N30589, the project included the rehabilitation of electrical networks, where the residents of this area already enjoy a more stable and robust electrical service, ensuring that energy arrives with the power and quality that each home deserves.
After the intervention, the community now has four transformers installed, new distribution networks, and improvements to the electrical power supply systems, directly impacting residential sectors located on El Coco Main Street, San José de Conuco, and Ranchito.

The investment allocated to this project amounts to RD$3,641,589.47, and included the installation of 40 poles, four transformers, the laying of 845 meters of medium voltage cabling and 1.9 kilometers of triplex network, thus strengthening the electrical infrastructure that supplies the area.
From EDENORTE, they report that these improvements directly benefit about 100 clients, who now have a more robust and reliable electrical system with greater capacity to respond to the community’s energy demand.
In turn, it reiterates that this type of interventions are part of its maintenance and modernization strategy of the distribution system, aimed at optimizing the service and guaranteeing greater efficiency in the electricity supply in the provinces of the Northern region.
