Eduardo Read Estrella’s defense deposits more than 12 boxes of evidence of attachment before the court

Santo Domingo.- The technical defense of Eduardo Read Estrella presented to the judge hearing the coercive measure of the SENASA case more than 12 boxes containing evidence of arraignment, with the purpose of demonstrating that his client does not represent a flight risk. According to Read Estrella’s lawyers, the filed documents include employment certifications, business records, family records, and other evidence that, they claim, prove their stable ties to the country. The court received hundreds of documents which, according to the defense, support the request that Read Estrella be subjected to a less severe measure than the pre-trial detention requested by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
