The legal representatives of businessman Eduardo Read, implicated in the SeNaSa case, described as unfounded and lacking in substance on Monday the versions that have been spread in a coordinated manner on social media about an alleged agreement with the Public Ministry. Lawyers Jorge A. López Hilario, Gustavo Biaggi Pumarol, and Heidy Guerrero González stated that these publications come from profiles that repeat the same content and cite unidentified sources, a pattern that, according to them, is usually characteristic of digital campaigns designed to shape public perception without real evidence. Furthermore, they reiterated that Read maintains a collaborative attitude with the authorities during the investigative process and assured that all stages of the procedure have fully respected their rights, as well as the guarantees established by law in terms of due process and effective judicial protection.
