El Chaval thanks Santiago Matías for the support he gives to bachata
Dominican bachata singer El Chaval de la Bachata publicly expressed his gratitude to businessman and communicator Santiago Matías for the support that, according to him, he is providing to the bachata genre through the new productions promoted by Alofoke Music Sound. The message was shared on his social media after the premiere of the song “Hija de la Noche”.
The song, in the bachata genre, brings together singer and songwriter Nacho Estrella, urban artist and producer Jey One, and the young exponent of Dominican female music Diana Laiz, participants in the reality show Planeta Alofoke, in a musical proposal that seeks to connect traditional bachata with more modern fusions, thus reaching new generations thanks to the boom of productions driven by Matías. The project was produced under the direction of B One and distributed in partnership with Sony Music. “Thanks Santiago Matías for the support you are giving to our genre, bachata. We are going to take it to #1 on YouTube,” wrote El Chaval along with the official video of the single, also motivating his followers to support the song on digital platforms and position it among the main musical trends. The interpreter’s statements have generated positive reactions within the Dominican artistic sphere and among the general fanbase, because they come from one of the most representative figures of Dominican bachata. The public recognition of El Chaval also evidences the impact that the song “Hija de la Noche” has had just hours after its premiere on social networks and digital platforms. We recommend reading: Alofoke Music bets on bachata with “Hija de la Noche”, along with talents from Planeta Alofoke
The official video for the song was recorded in the Colonial Zone and presents a narrative inspired by the social realities faced by sex workers, approached from a respectful, human, and emotional perspective. The visual production was handled by Ad Media Films, opting for a cinematographic and urban aesthetic. With this release, Alofoke Music Sound continues to strengthen its new stage as an independent record label focused on promoting Dominican talent and projecting native genres such as bachata, merengue, and dembow towards international markets, as part of the strategic vision of Santiago Matías at the head of the alliance with “Sony Music”, which seeks to promote the content made in the Dominican Republic.#Most read
