ETED will perform maintenance on the electrical transmission line this Saturday in Barahona

Santo Domingo.– The Dominican Electric Transmission Company (ETED) will carry out preventive maintenance and structure replacement work this Saturday on a 69 kV transmission line, as part of the efforts to strengthen the national power grid and improve the operational safety of the National Interconnected Electric System (SENI).

As part of these tasks, it will be necessary to interrupt electrical service in the community of Vicente Noble, located in the Barahona province. Likewise, the South-West aqueduct, the María Montez International Airport (Barahona), and the Canoa solar park will be impacted.

The ETED appreciates the understanding of the public and the institutions involved while it carries out these works, aimed at strengthening the reliability of the transmission system, preventing future breakdowns, and offering a more efficient electrical service.
