The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Friday, March 20, as follows:

Financial entities reported a buying rate of RD$67.05 and a selling rate of RD$71.93.

These values represent a variation compared to the previous day, when the purchase was at RD$67.94, which is equivalent to an appreciation of 1.33% in a single day.

The fall in the price of the European currency is more pronounced when compared to longer periods.

In the foreign exchange sector, the euro was quoted slightly higher, with a buying rate of RD$68.09 and a selling rate of RD$71.38.

As in banks, there is a downward trend compared to the previous day (1.08% variation) and an accumulated appreciation of 7.51% compared to the close of last year.
