The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Friday, March 13, as follows: In financial institutions, the buying rate of the euro was RD$69.65, while the selling rate reached RD$74.41. These figures reflect a variation compared to the previous day, when the purchase was positioned at RD$69.34 and the sale at RD$74.16, which represents a slight depreciation of the Dominican peso of 0.44% and 0.34% respectively in just 24 hours. For their part, remittance and exchange agents presented a similar dynamic. The average purchase rate for this sector closed at RD$70.58 and the sale rate at RD$73.18.
When comparing this data with the previous day, it is observed that the European currency also gained ground in these establishments, where the previous day it was bought at RD$70.24 and sold at RD$72.91.
