The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Monday, March 16, as follows:
as financial entities presented a buying rate of RD$69.58 and a selling rate of RD$74.32.
These figures reflect a slight appreciation of the Dominican peso against the previous day, when the purchase was at RD$69.65 and the sale at RD$74.41.
For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported slightly higher rates for buying, standing at RD$69.79, while selling proved more competitive than in banks, closing at RD$72.87.
In this segment, the fall in the value of the euro has been more pronounced in the last month, with a depreciation of 4.60% in the purchase rate compared to February 2026.
