The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Monday, March 9, as follows:

In financial institutions, the buying rate at the window closed the day at RD$68.49, while the selling rate was positioned at RD$73.26.

These figures reflect a slight daily depreciation of the Dominican peso against the European currency of -0.07% in buying and -0.12% in selling compared to the previous day.

For their part, remittance and exchange agents reported buying rates of RD$69.30 and selling rates of RD$72.28.

In this sector, the daily adjustment was a bit more marked than in the banks, with a negative variation of -0.31% and -0.41% respectively.

As in banking institutions, the trend at the beginning of the year continues to be strengthening for the Dominican currency, accumulating an appreciation of 5.64% in the purchase compared to the close of 2025.
