The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Thursday, February 26, 2026, as follows:

At the windows of financial institutions, the euro was quoted for purchase at RD$70.01 and for sale at RD$74.60.

These figures represent an appreciation of the national currency of 0.88% in buying and 0.82% in selling compared to the close of February 24, when the rates were at RD$70.62 and RD$75.20 respectively.

If performance is analyzed since the end of 2025, the peso has gained 3.53% in value against the purchase of the euro in the banking sector.

For their part, the exchange agents reported a buying rate of RD$71.04 and a selling rate of RD$73.59.

In this segment, the daily appreciation was 0.41% for buying and 0.47% for selling.

So far this year, the local currency shows a positive accumulated trend, with a strengthening of 3.06% in the purchase rate compared to the levels at the end of 2025.
