The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Tuesday, August 4, 2026, as follows:
In commercial banks and other financial entities, the euro purchase rate stood at RD$ 65.06, while the sale reached RD$ 69.40.
These figures represent a slight daily depreciation of the Dominican peso of 0.12% in the purchase rate and 0.20% in the sale rate compared to July 31, 2026, when the rates were RD$ 64.98 and RD$ 69.26, respectively.
Despite this daily adjustment, the long-term trend shows a sustained recovery of the peso’s value against the European currency.
For their part, at Remittance and Exchange Agents, the euro was traded at a purchase rate of RD$ 66.34 and a sale rate of RD$ 68.56.
In this segment, the peso also experienced a slight daily downward variation of 0.16% in the purchase price and 0.53% in the selling price compared to the last report in July.
