Moca, Espaillat.– A young man lost his life on Friday night after being wounded during a family incident that occurred in the La Punta sector, in Moca, Espaillat province.
The victim was identified as Juan Anyendy, known as “Nano”. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred during an argument in which an uncle of the young man was allegedly involved.
Initial reports indicate that a bladed weapon was used in the incident, although authorities are still working to precisely establish how the events occurred.
Agents of the National Police and representatives of the Public Ministry arrived at the scene and initiated investigations to determine the circumstances of the event and establish responsibilities.

The victim’s body was transported to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF), where the corresponding procedures will be carried out.
