Jarabacoa, R.D. – One year after the disappearance of the child Roldanys Calderón, his family members once again raised their voices to demand clear answers and concrete progress in the investigation of the case. This Monday morning, the minor’s parents, accompanied by their lawyer Ramón Cabral, held a press conference outside the Judicial District of Jarabacoa, where they expressed their concern about the lack of official information. During the meeting, the family members expressed feeling frustrated by the absence of visible results in the process, pointing out that, despite the time elapsed, conclusive details about the child’s whereabouts have not yet been offered. In that sense, they made a direct call to the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, as well as to magistrate Jenny Berenice Reynoso, requesting to be received and heard, after assuring that they have made multiple efforts without obtaining a response. The child’s mother, visibly affected, stated that she maintains hope of finding her son, assuring that she will not rest until she gets answers. We recommend reading: A year without a trace of the child Roldany Calderón: the case remains unanswered
