San Francisco de Macorís. – The senator for Duarte province, Franklin Romero, congratulated the Gigantes de San Francisco after winning the National Basketball League (LNB) championship, considering that the victory represents a source of pride for the entire province and the country.
The legislator highlighted that the title is the result of the effort, discipline, commitment, and teamwork demonstrated by the players, the coaching staff, the management, and the fans who supported the team throughout the entire season.
“This championship represents much more than a sports title; it is a display of the talent, perseverance, and spirit of improvement that characterizes our people. The Gigantes have held the name of San Francisco de Macorís and the entire Duarte province high,” expressed Romero.
Likewise, he reiterated his support for sports as a tool to promote youth development and strengthen values in society. In that sense, he urged the new generations to take inspiration from the success achieved by the franchise.
