Helicopter mobilizes brigade members to fight forest fire in Armando Bermúdez National Park

Manabao, Jarabacoa.A helicopter arrived in the community of Manabao to transport members of the Task Force, volunteer guides, and other brigade members participating in the control and extinguishing efforts of the forest fire affecting an area of the Armando Bermúdez National Park.

The aircraft was deployed as part of the logistical support actions to facilitate personnel access to hard-to-reach areas, where efforts continue to contain the fire and prevent its spread.

The operations are carried out with the participation of different institutions and volunteers, who work in a coordinated manner to protect the park’s natural resources and safeguard this important ecosystem of the Central Mountain Range.
