Puerto Plata. – The Atlántico FC football clubs of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and FC Sabana Norte of Bogotá, Colombia are pleased to announce a collaboration agreement that seeks to strengthen the relationship between both clubs and promote the development of football in the region.
The agreement, which was signed on November 20 in Puerto Plata, establishes a series of joint initiatives that include:
- Player exchange*: The clubs agreed to exchange players to participate in training programs and be able to play with Atlántico FC in the next year of the Dominican Football League.
- Training and development:* The clubs will offer training courses and workshops for coaches and players in the lower categories from Atlántico FC

- Friendly matches: The clubs will play annual friendly matches to promote rivalry and friendship between the teams.
- Community projects: The clubs will work together on community projects to promote football and education in the region.
“We are excited to announce this collaboration agreement with Atlántico Fc, a champion club,” said Ricardo Beltran Duque, President of the Fc Sabana Norte club. “We believe that this alliance will allow us to strengthen our relationship and promote the development of football in the region and also gives us the opportunity to send our players from the upper category to play in a league as competitive as the Dominican football league”.
“We are eager to work with Fc Sabana Norte to take football to a higher level”, added Rubén García Ciprian. “This agreement is an important step for both clubs and we are committed to making it work, and it projects our players from the lower categories to play in a World Cup country like Colombia”.
