United States.- Singer Miley Cyrus says goodbye to Dolly Parton with a message posted on Instagram, where she recalled the personal bond they shared and revealed details of one of the last conversations they had.

Following the death of her godmother, Cyrus pointed out that some of the memories she keeps with the country music performer belong to her private life and will remain away from public exposure.

The reference to “Aunt Dolly” also recalls Parton’s participation in the series Hannah Montana, where she appeared alongside Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus playing the protagonist’s aunt.

After Miley’s birth in 1992, Billy Ray asked Parton to be his daughter’s godmother, a proposal that the singer accepted.
