INEFI inaugurates psychomotricity classroom at educational center in Azua

Azua. – The National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI), an agency of the Ministry of Education (MINERD), inaugurated a psychomotricity classroom this Friday at the Hermanas Mirabal Educational Center, in the province of Azua, as part of the actions aimed at strengthening the integral development of students.

The new facility was enabled with the purpose of offering an adequate space to stimulate motor skills, coordination, balance, and body expression in boys and girls, also contributing to their cognitive, emotional, and social development.

The inaugural event was led by the executive director of INEFI, Alberto Rodríguez Mella, who highlighted the importance of these types of specialized spaces to complement teaching and learning processes at the early educational levels.

Psychomotricity classrooms are designed to promote the physical and mental development of students through activities that strengthen gross and fine motor skills, while simultaneously fostering social interaction and the development of essential competencies in the early childhood stage.
