Friday with isolated showers:
For Friday, the trough will remain northeast of the country over Atlantic waters, causing isolated showers and possible thunderstorms in regions of the north, northeast, the Eastern Plain, the Central mountain range, and the border area. Temperatures will remain slightly pleasant, especially in mountainous areas and inland valleys, where fogs and mists could be recorded in Santiago, Espaillat and Hermanas Mirabal. In Greater Santo Domingo, cloudy increases are expected with isolated showers, with temperatures ranging between 21 °C and 23 °C in the early morning and between 30 °C and 32 °C in the afternoon.INDOMET explains that the influence of a high-pressure system in the Atlantic persists, which maintains mostly stable conditions; however, the arrival of the frontal trough will cause punctual rains in various locations of the country during the next 48 hours.
