Iván Ruiz states that he will continue to lead RTVD after presenting “La Gran Salida”

Santo Domingo.- The director of Radio Televisión Dominicana (RTVD), Iván Ruiz, affirmed that he will continue to lead the television station and made it clear that he does not contemplate stepping away from the transformation process that the state channel is currently undergoing.

During the presentation of “The Great Exit”, Ruiz highlighted that the changes implemented at RTVD are part of a process that, he assured, must be maintained and consolidated.

The communicator acknowledged that his participation has been a part of the process, but attributed the results achieved to the work of a multidisciplinary team.

“This would not have been achieved without the firmness of the President of the Republic. This could not have been achieved without the President supporting this initiative,” expressed Ruiz, highlighting the president’s support for the RTVD transformation process.

Ruiz also highlighted that the project seeks to turn RTVD into a public television station that transcends the governments of the day and is at the service of all Dominicans.

With his statements, the director of RTVD cleared up expectations regarding his continuity and reiterated his commitment to the consolidation of the transformation process that he is promoting from the television station.
