Jessica Alba recently finalized her divorce with Cash Warren, which marked a significant change in the distribution of their income and properties.
The agreement was finalized on February 12th, after 16 years of marriage, and stipulates the division of assets acquired during their union, including shares in film projects and shares of their company, The Honest Company.
The 44-year-old actress met the 47-year-old producer in 2004 during the filming of Fantastic Four, when he was working as an assistant director. They got married four years later.
According to the divorce terms, Warren will receive half of Alba’s residual income corresponding to all works done during their marriage, including the 2014 sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, for which the artist would have received between one and two million dollars.
During her career, Jessica Alba participated in multiple productions that generated significant revenue, including Valentine’s Day, the Machete films, Little Fockers, Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, Mechanic: Resurrection and Trigger Warning.
However, Alba retains control over the royalties from projects completed before her marriage in 2008, including Fantastic Four, its 2007 sequel Rise of the Silver Surfer, Never Been Kissed, and Honey.
In 2011, the famous co-founded The Honest Company, which is currently estimated to be worth $308 million in its initial public offering.
As part of the divorce settlement, Cash Warren will receive 1,170,058 restricted acquired shares and 4,523,035 restricted certified shares of the company.
In addition to financial assets, the agreement includes the distribution of material goods. Alba will keep furniture, clothing, jewelry, several bank accounts, an Audi Q-6 E-tron, a 2025 Kia Sportage, and a 2026 Kia Sportage, while the marital furniture, the art collection, and airline miles will be divided between the two.
Warren will keep his 2024 BMW i7, and the couple will also distribute their investments in companies like Popchips, WeWork, Hopscout, Sona Labs, and Telly Inc.
The agreement includes a total payment of $3 million from Jessica Alba to Cash Warren, with $1.5 million to be settled immediately and another $1.5 million scheduled for 2027.
No child support or spousal support payments were established. The couple shares joint custody of Haven, 14, and Hayes, eight, while their eldest daughter, Honor, 17, will attend Yale University, Warren’s alma mater.
Personally, Jessica began a relationship with actor Danny Ramirez last July, although they did not officially appear as a couple on the red carpet of the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Los Angeles.
Cash, for his part, has maintained dates with singer Seanna Pereira and UCLA graduate Hana Sun Doerr since the filing of the divorce petition.
In addition to her business activity, Alba continues to develop projects in film and television. Among them are the suspense film The Mark, the directorial debut of Dakota Johnson.
