Jorge Asjana makes an official visit to the Dominican Consul in New York

New York.- The aspiring rector of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), Jorge Asjana, visited the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in New York City, where he was received by the Dominican consul, Jesús Vásquez.

During the meeting, Asjana and her team were able to hear firsthand the strategic plans and important initiatives that the Consul has been implementing in favor of the Dominican diaspora in the United States. The exchange of ideas was highly beneficial, framed in an environment of cooperation and commitment to the Dominican community abroad.

The delegation expressed its recognition of the work being done from the consular headquarters and its interest in strengthening academic and social ties with the Dominican community residing in New York.

This meeting is part of a broader agenda aimed at fostering collaboration between the Dominican academy and key sectors of the diaspora, with a view to promoting joint initiatives in education, health, education, and social development.
