Junior Noboa, Baseball Commissioner, congratulates Leones del Escogido for their back-to-back championship

The National Baseball Commissioner, Junior Noboa, congratulated the Leones del Escogido this Wednesday for their bicampeonato and 18th crown in the 2025-26 Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League Final Series. “I want to congratulate the Leones del Escogido for their coronation for the second consecutive year along with their board of directors headed by the Najri, Bonetti and Vicini, who since they took over that organization 17 years ago have been able to achieve six championships in Dominican baseball,” said Noboa about the team that defeated the Toros del Este in five games in the final agreed to the best of a 7-4. Commissioner Noboa valued the great work done by leader Ramón Santiago along with all his players to retain the championship.
