Los Alcarrizos. – The City Hall of Los Alcarrizos inaugurated the sewage channeling and the paving of several streets in the Los Multis sector, a project that puts an end to a sanitary problem that for years affected dozens of families.
Mayor Junior Santos led the handover ceremony for the work completed on Orlando Martínez, Respaldo Orlando Martínez, Respaldo Primera and Primera, and Respaldo 16 streets, among other roads in the sector.
The Director of Municipal Works and Urban Planning, engineer Yocasta Carela, reported that the project included the installation of 300 linear meters of B-8 pressure pipe, nine prefabricated manholes with high-traffic covers, and four block manholes. She added that the work was executed by the company pegrup Construcciones, after being awarded the contract through a public tender.
During his speech, Mayor Junior Santos highlighted that the project responds to a commitment made to the community members and stated that, with the support of President Luis Abinader, the City Council continues to promote solutions that dignify the lives of the citizens, prioritizing investments that for years were neglected by previous administrations.

On behalf of the community, councilman Joan Ángeles, who proposed the project, highlighted that the intervention responds to a long-standing demand from residents and thanked the mayor for making a project that improves the health and quality of life of the sector a reality.
Also present at the activity were deputy Aldo Adón and council members Ángel Medina and Primitivo Núñez, along with community leaders and representatives of the neighborhood association, who positively valued the execution of the project due to the impact it will have on the community.
