Santo Domingo.- Los Prados club defeated El Millón team this Sunday, 97-68, in the opening game of the triple header corresponding to the second date of the TBS Distrito 2025 regular season.
In the first game, Bameso (1-0) showed their courage by defeating Mauricio Báez (0-1) 102-92 on Saturday at the Prudential Center Arena, in the city of Newark, in the State of New Jersey, in the United States.
The Pradenses, guided by Carlos Payano, tie with Bameso, while El Yireh draws with Mauricio, after concluding the Sunday match staged in the Ricardo -Gioriver- Arias Volleyball Pavilion, of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center.
Julio Phipps led the offense with 23 points, the import Daytone Jennings contributed 17 more points plus seven rebounds, and William Cruz achieved a triple-double of 16 baskets, 10 rebounds and distributed 10 assists.
Kelvin Ramírez had 11 units and Carlos Pérez 10 digits so that Los Prados has five players with double figures in scoring.
By El Millón, the North American reinforcement Michael Watkins finished with a 20-20 of points (23) and rebounds (21), Jessie Zarzuela 14, Enmanuel Martínez 13 and Andrés Fulgencio 11.
The TBS District 2025 is organized by the National District Basketball Association (Abadina), chaired by Colonel (PN) Diego Pesqueira, and the Organizing Committee is headed by José Ignacio Paliza, Minister of the Presidency.
