n” “nMaimón, Monseñor Nouel.– The Maimón Popular Struggle Front and the Maimón Neighborhood Association Union led a community gathering to demand concrete answers and immediate actions from the authorities regarding the constant power outages affecting that municipality.
n” “nDuring the activity, the organizers expressed their gratitude for the support of delegations from different towns, as well as popular, community, and social organizations that joined the event, highlighting that solidarity and unity strengthen the fight for the rights of the communities.
n” “nThe leaders recalled that on June 23, 2026, they submitted a formal document to the competent authorities requesting solutions to the energy crisis facing Maimón. However, they pointed out that to date they have not received an official response, a situation they consider worrying for the entire population.

n” “nThey expressed that constant electrical service interruptions continue to affect families’ economies, causing damage to electrical equipment, harming commerce, limiting the growth of small businesses, and hindering the daily activities of students, workers, and citizens in general.
n” “nLikewise, they valued the announcement of the construction of an electrical substation which, according to the information provided, would contribute to improving the energy supply in the municipality. However, they insisted that the population deserves to know concrete details about the start of the work, its execution, and the real impact it will have on reducing power outages.

The Maimón Popular Struggle Front and the Union of Neighborhood Associations reaffirmed their willingness to engage in dialogue with the authorities, although they warned that they will remain organized, vigilant, and mobilized until they obtain real solutions that guarantee a stable, efficient, and quality electrical service for all residents.
n” “nFinally, they called on the citizenry to maintain unity and continue defending their rights peacefully, while urging the authorities to respond to the document submitted and present a serious plan that allows for an end to a problem that, they assert, affects the well-being and development of the entire municipality of Maimón.
