Jarabacoa. – A resident of the La Colonia community reported that in the system of the General Directorate of Traffic and Ground Transportation Safety (Digesett) 42 traffic tickets are registered in his name, despite the fact that he claims to have only committed three of them. The complainant, Roberto Belarmino Ramos, reported that the situation began after being stopped by a Digesett agent when he was leaving to carry out his duties as a messenger in a transportation company in the municipality. You may be interested in: Man arrested in Jarabacoa for association of wrongdoers and attempted homicide | De Último Minuto
He explained that the incident occurred near his workplace and that a supervisor confirmed to the officer that he was part of the company’s staff. However, after that event, multiple infractions began to be reflected in the system, which he considers a serious error that affects his reputation, his economic stability, and that he claims has no way to pay those fines, since he barely manages to provide for his family. Ramos requested the intervention of the corresponding authorities to investigate and correct this situation, which he described as unfair and harmful.
