Man reports violent assault after arriving in Dajabón from the United States

Dajabón.- A man reported having been the victim of a violent armed robbery moments after arriving from the United States at his residence located in the Benito Monción sector, in this border municipality.

The victim, identified as Nicolás Morel, reported that he was surprised by two individuals as he was about to enter his home. According to his account, the attackers held him at gunpoint, struck him, and snatched the clothes he was wearing.

Morel indicated that the criminals stole a wallet containing personal documents, a high-end cell phone, and two chains valued at nearly two million pesos.

The case is being investigated by the authorities, who are working on the identification and location of those responsible for the assault.
