Maridalia Hernández highlights the importance of preserving artistic authenticity
Santo Domingo.- With more than four decades of experience in music, the singer Maridalia Hernández considered this Wednesday that one of the main legacies she can pass on to new generations of artists is the importance of maintaining authenticity and fidelity to their own artistic identity.
“There is a mark, there is a seal, there is a style in your gift that God places in you, that only you have,” the artist assured.
During a meeting with the press in the framework of the preparations for the “Que Canten Ellas” concert, the performer reflected on the responsibility of artists to stay updated without losing the essence that distinguishes them within the music industry.
Hernández explained that, throughout her career, she has sought to be consistent with her craft, her art, and the style she has developed over all these years, despite the trends that constantly influence the market.
“My advice or what I would like to share with the new generations is that they should always stay attached to that differentiating mark that God placed in each of their talents, without imitating anyone,” the artist expressed.
The singer highlighted that, although it is important to evolve and adapt to industry changes, every performer must recognize and preserve what makes them unique.
Maridalia Hernández highlights the qualities of Laura Rivera
When referring to Laura Rivera, her colleague in the show “Que Canten Ellas”, Hernández expressed the affection and admiration she feels for her, highlighting that she has had the opportunity to watch her grow and develop her artistic abilities.
The performer described Rivera as a mature, focused woman with great talent that transcends singing, also highlighting her creativity and human qualities.

“Laura, besides the fact that I love her very much because I saw her grow up, I saw her develop her talent, she is a very mature woman, very grounded, a great talent, not only as a singer, but as an artist, extremely creative,” he/she stated.
Likewise, he valued her solidarity, sincerity, and honesty, qualities that, in his opinion, make Rivera an artist of great value.
The meeting was the setting to learn more closely about Hernández’s artistic vision and the bond she maintains with Rivera, in the prelude to “Que Canten Ellas”, a show that will bring both performers together on the stage of Hard Rock Café Santo Domingo on November 7th, starting at 9:00 PM.
