Azua. – An unexpected moment occurred during an official activity in the province of Azua, when the municipal mayor, Rafael Antonio Hidalgo Fernández, made a slip of the tongue by mentioning former president Leonel Fernández instead of President Luis Abinader while giving his speech.

The event occurred during the inauguration of a project led by the president, which surprised those present. After realizing the error, Hidalgo Fernández immediately corrected the mention and continued his speech without further incident.
