Rome.- Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met this Thursday in Rome with the opposition leader and Peace Prize Nobel laureate María Corina Machado, as part of her European tour, as confirmed by the Italian Government.
The meeting, which had not been announced, took place in the Roman Chigi Palace, headquarters of the Italian Executive.
Previously, the Venezuelan opposition leader has visited representatives of the Venezuelan community in Rome.
María Corina Machado is carrying out a European tour during which, among other acts, she has already met in Paris with the French President, Emmanuel Macron, and in The Hague with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten, and which will continue in Madrid.

Maduro’s Departure
The Italian government then reported that both “agreed that

Meloni also supported the operation with which the United States of Donald Trump managed to capture and imprison Maduro and his wife, considering it “illegitimate” in their fight against drug trafficking.
