Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that, so far, there are no Dominicans among the people affected by the earthquake that occurred in Colombia on Monday.
The Embassy and the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in Bogotá are maintaining communication with the relevant Colombian authorities to update this information and provide the necessary assistance to Dominicans who may need it.
Likewise, the Directorate for the Protection of Nationals Abroad of this Ministry keeps its direct channels enabled from Santo Domingo at the telephone number (809) 987-7001, extensions 7595, 7597 and 7100, and the email address proteccionanacionales@mirex.gob.do.
