Santo Domingo.– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mirex) reported the regrettable passing of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the Republic of Guatemala, Mr. Ricardo Tomás Polanco Reinoso.
The institution explained that the diplomat passed away on the night of this Thursday, June 4 after suffering from health issues. His funeral services will be held at the Jardín Memorial cemetery on Jacobo Majluta Avenue, starting at 12:00 noon this Friday the 5th, and his burial will be at 4:00 p.m. in the same cemetery.
The Mirex extended its condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of this ambassador, who held this position since January 2025.
