Moon Palace Hotel responds after incident between employee and a tourist in Punta Cana

Punta Cana.– The The Palace Company chain, owner of the Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana hotel, issued a statement this Friday in which it assured that it had acted immediately following the altercation involving one of its employees and several guests inside a restaurant at the complex.

The company reported that, upon becoming aware of what happened, it activated its internal response protocols, provided assistance to the people involved, and notified the competent authorities to initiate investigations.

Likewise, he indicated that he maintains permanent coordination with the agencies responsible for the process, with the purpose of contributing to the clarification of the facts.

In its statement, the hotel chain regretted the incident and reaffirmed that the safety, well-being, and respect for its guests and collaborators constitute fundamental pillars of its operation.

“The Palace Company maintains its commitment to offering a safe and quality environment at each of its properties,” the company stated.

The statement comes after several videos went viral on social media in which a hotel employee is seen throwing objects in the direction of customers who were in a restaurant, a situation that caused moments of tension among those present.

So far, the authorities have not reported the causes that led to the altercation or whether any measures have been taken as a result of the investigation. Meanwhile, the company assured that it will continue to cooperate with the process until the case is clarified.
