National Police searches for fugitive with arrest warrant in La Vega

La Vega, R.D. – The Regional Sub-Directorate of Investigation of the National Police in La Vega reported that José Alfredo Caspois de la Rosa, a Dominican, born on June 9, 1986, holder of ID card 047-0189970-2, against whom the arrest warrant no. 2026-AJ0004949 is pending, is wanted by justice.

According to the official report, Caspois de la Rosa is identified as the alleged perpetrator of violating article 309, numeral 2, of the Dominican Penal Code, modified by Law 24-97, after seriously wounding his sentimental partner with a firearm projectile, in an incident that occurred on January 19, 2026, in the Amada residential complex, in this city of La Vega. The National Police warns that the individual is highly dangerous and heavily armed, therefore urges citizens to not attempt to confront him and, if they have information about his whereabouts, contact the authorities immediately.
