7National Police officers seized controlled substances and electronic equipment during an intervention carried out in the Los Barrancones sector of this city of La Vega.
The action occurred while the agents were carrying out preventive work, at which moment they observed an individual with a suspicious attitude, who, upon noticing the police presence, fled, leaving a package abandoned on the pavement.
Upon being searched, thirty-one (31) portions of a rocky material, presumably crack, wrapped in plastic bags were found inside.
Furthermore, a shack was located nearby where three communication radios, a digital scale, and a light bulb-type surveillance camera were seized, presumably used for illicit activities.
