Santo Domingo, R.D. – A recent market study conducted by the firm Colografic, based on 2,000 in-person interviews in 15 strategic provinces, reveals a scenario of high internal competitiveness within the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).
According to the results, the Minister of Tourism David Collado leads the voting intention with 29.5%, closely followed by Wellington Arnaud, who reaches 26.2% and is positioned as a territorial leader by dominating six key provinces, including Santiago and San Cristóbal.
The study also shows a fragmentation of the vote in the main cities of the country. In that context, the mayor of the National District, Carolina Mejía, holds the third position with 22.0%, supported by her strength in the province of Santo Domingo and the Eastern region.
For his part, Guido Gómez Mazara emerges as a determining actor in the contest, registering a 12.2% preference. The leader positions himself as the “kingmaker”, with a presence in second and third places in provinces with high electoral weight such as Santiago, Espaillat and Peravia.

Meanwhile, Vice President Raquel Peña obtains 6.1%, reflecting a vote for institutional continuity, while Eduardo Sanz Lovatón registers 2.0%.
With a margin of error of ±2.2%, analysts point out that Arnaud’s territorial structure and Mejía’s demographic weight represent challenges for Collado’s leadership of opinion, in a reserved forecast scenario where strategic alliances, especially with the Gómez Mazara sector, could define the winner of the presidential nomination.
